今年「普世基督徒默禱團體」香港分會的四旬期退省於3月20至22日在翻新工程近乎竣工的赤柱舂坎角天主教靜修院順利舉行。是次主題為「心靈邁向天主的旅程」。承蒙張耀華神父 (Fr Paul Cheong, OFM. Cap.) 在百忙中抽空，再次遠道從吉隆坡來港，帶領參加者學習身心靈的整合，教大家從認識聖文德的靈修加深了解基督徒默禱的意義。

張神父平易近人又幽默風趣，對靈修充滿熱忱；富感染力的生命像星星之火不動聲色地燃點起每一位跟他接觸的人對深化信仰的心火！他盡心盡力的教導，並親携數十本他本人有關提升基督徒生活的著作送贈大家，使退修者大獲豐收！這是神師對團體的愛和無私的付出，我們非常感恩！

This year, the World Community for Christian Meditation (HK) successfully held its Lenten retreat from 20 to 22 March at the Catholic Retreat Centre in Chung Hom Kok, Stanley, where renovation works are nearly completed.

The theme of the retreat was St Bonaventure's “The Soul’s Journey into God”.

We were deeply grateful that Fr Paul Cheong, OFM Cap., despite his busy schedule, once again took the time to travel from Kuala Lumpur to Hong Kong to lead the participants. He takes a holistic approach - the integration of body, mind, and spirit - and helped everyone deepen their understanding of the meaning of Christian meditation through the spirituality of St. Bonaventure.

Fr. Paul is approachable, warm, and full of humour. He radiates great passion for the spiritual life and for meditation. He is inspiring and contagious in that he is like a spark that quietly ignites the fire of faith in everyone he meets, encouraging them to deepen their relationship with God. He taught with great dedication and personally brought dozens of his own books on effective Christian living as gifts to us. Everyone benefitted richly from the retreat!

What a reflection of Fr. Paul’s love for the community and his selfless dedication. We are deeply thankful!
